Recently Eaton Bank School in the UK utilized Barefoot’s Cocktail floor product to be used in a number of different rooms throughout the school. The school was looking for flooring that the children would enjoy and that was easy to clean. The Cocktail seamless flooring was applied over a number of different floor types including tile, concrete, and linoleum. Learn more about Barefoot floor and the flooring products they carry by reading the press release below and visiting their website.

Barefoot Floor Couture has delivered a transformational effect underfoot with the installation of an inspirational seamless floor finish at a newly–designed sixth form centre in Cheshire.

Online PR News – 30–September–2009 – Barefoot Floor Couture has delivered a transformational effect underfoot with the installation of an inspirational seamless floor finish at a newly-designed sixth form centre in Cheshire.

Eaton Bank School in Congleton renovated their facility over the summer break, to create a welcoming space for relaxing between lessons.

Sue Cowan, Business and Community Manager at Eaton Bank School, involved a group of sixth form pupils in the selection of the décor to be used in the centre – and Barefoot’s decorative Cocktail floor ticked all the boxes. Student Laura Kennerley, said: "We needed something that would be easy to keep clean, but still looked smart and sophisticated.

"Vinyl and laminate flooring were all considered, but the unique Barefoot floor impressed us.

"The old carpet was difficult to keep clean and was laid directly on to concrete, so it was quite hard – the Barefoot floor is actually softer."

Barefoot's craftsmen carried out the project, applying Cocktail seamless flooring over a number of different types of old flooring, including tiles, concrete and linoleum.

"We've had some wet days since the term started and the new floor really cleans up, even with school bags being dragged on it. The whole area looks bigger – it’s fantastic." said Sue

"We are absolutely thrilled with the floor. It’s very smart, but it's also durable – perfect for a high traffic area."
