New building to house extensive flooring options for the home

RALEIGH – Horizon Forest Products (HFP) and Long Floor have announced the relocation of their Wilmington branch to a new 30,000 square foot building. The facility is located at 2422 Castle Hayne Road in Wilmington and will house a top–of–the–line showroom equipped to handle today’s trends in the hardwood market place, as well as a fully functioning storeroom housing everything for the hardwood flooring installer and a complete line of sanding and finishing supplies.

David Blackburn manages the companies’ Wilmington branch, which employs nine team members. The branch recently occupied 23,000 square feet, and Blackburn says that the added space will allow Horizon Forest Products and Long Floor to provide even more options to the discerning public.

"When we relocated, the biggest priority was the new showroom," explains Blackburn. "We wanted to create an atmosphere that would be able to illustrate all of the available flooring options for the home. It was important to showcase pre–finished, unfinished, solid, and engineered flooring. With the added space we are able to accomplish this goal."
