Constantine has 4 manufacturing locations in Calhoun, GA dedicated to the design and manufacturing of commercial carpet tile,
broadloom carpeting, and other hard surface floor products. Milliken’s acquisition of Constantine widens their flooring
portfolio of products for the key commercial floor covering market.
Acquisition Will Further Strengthen Key Industry Relationships
SPARTANBURG, S.C., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ –– Milliken & Company announced that it has completed the
acquisition of Constantine LLC, effective October 6, 2009. Based in Calhoun, Georgia, Constantine designs, manufactures and
markets broadloom and modular carpet tile, as well as resilient and hard surface flooring. Constantine operates four
manufacturing locations as well as a distribution center, all within the Calhoun, Georgia area. In total, approximately 300
associates are joining Milliken & Company's Floor Covering Division following the acquisition.
By acquiring Constantine, Milliken broadens their Floor Covering portfolio of products directed at serving the
requirements of commercial specifiers in the architectural and design community.
