No Fault Industries Inc. was founded in 1974 as a sport surfacing manufacturer, largely focused on tennis court and running track surfaces. This company’s name, ‘No Fault’, is today synonymous with the recreational surface industry. The introduction of the company’s poured–in–place rubber product in the 1980s soon took it to the pinnacle of the sports surfacing industry.

Poured–in–place seamless rubber playground safety surface that is durable, aesthetically pleasing, maintenance friendly, offers more cushioning and substantially reduced impact. No Fault’s new flooring was a trendsetter in playground safety which compelled the American Standard for Testing Methods (ASTM) and Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) to formulate guidelines and standards for playground surfacing. The revolutionary new flooring was developed at the request of a local McDonald’s franchise owner. Its success led to its installation in all the company’s restaurants countrywide and later around the globe. This stimulated the interest of many well–known companies in the child care and entertainment industry which soon made No Fault’s poured–in–place surfacing a popular in the United States.

No Fault Safety Surface soon found other applications, being a slip–resistant, decorative surface. It was used in walking trails and jogging tracks, pool decks, spray grounds, water play areas. Since No Fault Safety floors were introduced, millions of square feet have been installed around the world.

Since 2000, No Fault has introduced a number of new products related to the sport and safety surfacing arena. Such products have been safety tiles, impact reducing synthetic grass, bonded rubber and loose filled rubber mulch and two kinds of indoor rubber sports flooring.

Rubber Mulch is a 100% recycled product using tire rubber. It is non–toxic, organically colored with UV protectors and environmentally sustainable. It does not rot or attract insects nor absorbs moisture; and does not create dust. It is available either as shredded material or nuggets both of which are ADA and ASTM compliant. It is perfect for playgrounds, landscaping applications and walkways and is covered under a 5 year warranty.

Bonded rubber mulch comprises single density shredded rubber mulch blended with conventional polyurethane adhesive for an exceptional, natural appearance. It was designed for playgrounds, walking trails, decorative themed environments and landscaping.

No Fault Sports Floor is a high performance fitness flooring which is exceptionally durable and resilient and is able to withstand very intense conditions. It is available in tiles or rolls, both of which are easy to install. Maintenance is simple with soap and water being adequate. The flooring is also stain–resistant. It is an ideal flooring for offices and work areas, weight rooms, aerobic areas, locker rooms, juice bars and exposition facilities.

No Fault is committed to green products, excellence and safety which have taken the company to the forefront of the industry in sports safety flooring. The company is an active member of the US Green Building Council. To date it estimates to have salvaged at least 500 million pounds of scrap rubber, saving it from landfills. No Fault is known for its extensive usage of post-consumer recycled tire rubber.
