Based in Richmond, Ca., EcoTimber Flooring is one of the first flooring companies in the world to promote sustainable tropical timber. Since 1992 it has remained dedicated to the protection of forests and indoor air quality. All EcoTimber products conform to the highest standards of sustainable forest management and are free of toxic materials. EcoTimber purchases exclusively from forests that conform to the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Buying from such forests ensures sustainability, discourages illegal logging and conserves forests for generations to come.

The EcoTimber's floor covering products comprise a wide range of exquisite domestic and exotic hardwood and bamboo flooring sold throughout the US through a network of 500 authorized dealers. The company’s range includes prefinished engineered and floating floors. All EcoTimber flooring products conform to the highest "green" and health standards.

All EcoTimber hardwood floors in their Classics series are FSC certified and feature 3 layers of wood bonded with an eco–friendly adhesive free of formaldehyde. Classic white oak flooring comes in a range of stain colors to match any theme. EcoTimber bamboo flooring is made from raw material harvested in plantations and not from wild habitats.

EcoTimber also produces a range of adhesives and underlayments. The adhesives are non–toxic, VOC and water–free and of high bonding performance while the underlayment pad is made up of 92% recycled materials.
