Natural Cork, Inc. company logoCork flooring is making a splash in the flooring industry in a big way. When it comes to green floors, cork flooring is a must-have commodity. One company taking advantage of the new cork floor popularity is Natural Cork, a North American retailer and distributor of cork floors. Their cork floor products are actually manufactured in Portugal, where the cork oak trees are grown.

Close-up photo of Natural Cork flooringNatural Cork believes that they offer the highest quality cork floor products on the market. Some products they currently distribute include uniquely patterned cork floor tiles, floating cork floor planks, and cork flooring underlayments. Natural Cork floors are processed with MICROBAN, a treatment that increases the floors' ability to deter mold and fungi growth. Not only can an antimicrobial cork floor promote healthier indoor air quality, but it can also help prolong the life of your floors.

In addition to cork, Natural Cork also distributes bamboo flooring materials and products. The bamboo floors are made in Anji, the bamboo capital of China. To ensure that bamboo floors are as eco–friendly as possible, Natural Cork has partnered up with bamboo manufacturers that uses adhesives and finishes that meet or exceed the requirements for green flooring.

Natural Cork also promotes the use of eco–friendly wood. Wood that's considered green is harvested from environmentally responsible forests, reclaimed from abandoned buildings, and/or manufactured with sustainable materials.
