THIN FLATS are the nation’s first Platinum Certified LEED–Homes green residential duplex project. Completed in 2008
and located in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia, THIN FLATS consists of 8 residential units. This eco friendly LEED
certified duplex project is an urban community with a complete focus on sustainability. In fact, the THIN FLATS LEED
certified green homes are designed to reduce energy usage by a total of at least 50%.

less water, energy, and natural resources and to generate less waste. The result is fewer greenhouse gas emissions, less
money spent on water and energy bills, reduced exposure to indoor toxins including mold and mildew, and other environmental
