In addition to gathering the right tools for your cork flooring project, you'll also need to find easy-to-follow installation instructions. Also keep in mind that while cork tiles are quite durable, there are some household areas where they are not suitable for installation. Examples may include bathrooms, kitchens and basements (check with the manufacturer where you purchased the cork flooring material).

Cork flooring can be well worth the effort it takes to install and maintain them. Cork floor tiles are environmentally friendly, naturally resist common household allergens, deter mold and fungi growth, and even contain a natural substance that repels insects (i.e. Suberin). If that wasn't enough, cork flooring also provides a high level of insulation, is a resilient floor type (bounces back upon impact), and can help reduce sound transmission. At the end of the day, you can enjoy a home that's quieter, warmer, and safer for your pets and family.

On FindAnyFloor.com, you can find step-by-step installation guides that are tailored to your level of expertise. In no time, you can learn how to install cork flooring just like a flooring professional. Also, check out our Kid-, Pet- and Green-Friendly flooring sections to find out more about the many benefits of cork flooring. You may just find yourself saying "yes" to cork installation!

first time cork installer here. I was dreading the day our cork flooring came to the house because I had no idea what I was doing! My hubby found the cork flooring installation manual online and off we went! Thank you for the manual! It was so helpful! Installing cork wasn't too bad, I couldn't imagine installing hardwood flooring, tiles, or god anything else but our cork flooring install went very well! I love my new floor!
