Next week I will be addressing the audience at the DCS conference in Sonoma, California. The topic of my presentation will
center around consumer search behavior and separating myth or perception from reality. I will share results from a test we
conducted with over 30,000 consumers searching online to buy flooring and what they actually typed into the search engines,
where they went, and in the end who they purchased their material from.

Sausalito, CA, Nov. 6, 2009 –– DCS Partnership Group has announced that its annual conference will integrate
its Bridgeway Interactive builder channel network with its Creating Your Space retail channel network.
The conference is being held Nov. 16–17 in the Northern California and it will have both combined and
channel–specific business sessions for attendees.
Participants will include manufacturers, interior finish contractors, builders, flooring retailers and wholesalers, and
kitchen and bath retailers.
Each group will be introduced to the latest in technology based marketing and operations tools from the DCS Partnership
Group companies. They will also be given the opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences during various interactive
sessions.
The keynote speaker for the Bridgeway Interactive members will be Nate Kredich, the vice president of Residential
Marketing Development for the U.S. Green Building Council. He will address the growing sustainability movement in the
residential housing industry.
Creating Your Space will feature Damien Patton, the CEO and founder of Find Any Floor, an independent web portal. He will
address search habits of today’s online consumers and social media as it applies to the flooring industry.
