I used Konecto Hardwood Vinyl Plank Flooring when I remodeled my kitchen. I had a professional installation to make my life easier. I have read that Konecto was a great brand but after it was installed it began to lift. I have a warranty but it has been difficult to get in touch with Konecto directly. If you use this floor brand I recommend using a different flooring adhesive because mine lifted.Suggestion: Durabond, from Bostik is good. Ive used it before for a do it yourself project I attempted months back. IF you choose Konecto make sure to use a good adhesive so your floor wont lift.

Thanks for your advice Adam. I will look into it but I had Konecto's Vinyl Plank flooring that imitate bamboo installed recently and I have had no problems. I wonder if each individual retailer that carries Konecto uses a different adhesive or does Konecto provide the adhesive along with the flooring to the flooring retailers? Never thought to look until now.My Konecto isn't lifting, it's in perfect condition thus far. Good luck to your floors.

Hello Ron,

I have no idea what Adam S did as you are RIGHT, Konecto is a floating floor. I can only imagine the mess he got himself into. As a professional installer we see things like this all the time with do it yourself flooring projects. Even though is may seem easy, having a professional guide you is probably the wise decision after an investment like this. Hope that your installation goes betters than Adams. Start with no adhesive on the vinyl and you will already be off to a better start.

HI: I recently purchased Konecto red oak project plank flooring. It was to replace vinal floor in the kitchen and two bath rooms so all vinal was the same,and it compliments the red oak wood trim in the kitchen and baths. VERY NICE match with all the options available in colors. I was going to do it myself, but procrastinated long enough to hire a floor guy. He was all the difference, followed the instructions to the T, and Preped the old floor maticulously by pulling up the old vinal (I was going to put the new over the old) Proper prep is key to any remodel to do it right. After all the trim, transitions strips to carpet, etc was matched, I looks and so far works GREAT. I highly recommend it and install it correctly..... not glue needed. DB

Is it just me or they really made a terrific job by combining the materials and colors for the interior design? Just look at that kitchen! I never thought cold colors would look so good in a kitchen, a place where most of the people choose warm hues for painting the walls and for the furniture. I myself did that long ago. My kitchen is painted in light brown and orange. And look at that bathroom! It all looks so elegant and comfortable at the same time thanks to these bath vanities we recently were told we can find on the web, plus the great Nisbets out there. On this, I am planning to make a change because I would love for my bathroom to look exactly as the one in this picture above.
