The resiliency and ease of maintenance has made vinyl floors very popular over the last few decades. Vinyl floor tiles are also relatively easy to install. There are three vinyl floor types, each which require a specific installation method: fiberglass, felt-backed sheet vinyl and vinyl floor planks and tiles.

You can learn how to put down a vinyl tile floor using FindAnyFloor.com's vinyl installation guide. The guides on FindAnyFloor.com are printer friendly, in addition to being modified specifically to your level of experience. In the guide you can find step-by-step instructions on how to put down felt-backed vinyl, fiberglass vinyl, and vinyl tiles and planks. Note that only fiberglass sheet vinyl can be floated above the subfloor without adhesive, while vinyl tiles/planks and felt-backed vinyl must be secured with a full-spread adhesive.

With FindAnyFloor.com's installation guide, you'll not only learn how to put down a vinyl tile floor, you can learn how to do it just like a flooring professional. Use these comprehensive guidelines to learn tricks and tips on installing vinyl floor sheets with or without seams and above various types of underlayments.

Putting down a vinyl tile floor can be an enjoyable experience when you have proper guidance. Sometimes the best and only way to learn is to watch it first performed by a seasoned installer. In addition to FindAnyFloor.com's vinyl flooring instructions, refer to FloorTube.com's installation section for assistance. There you'll find installation videos on vinyl floors that can show you how flooring professionals install vinyl floors in certain household areas.

nice tips but you have to be sure to take the extra thickness of your finished floor into consideration. If the new tiles are going to be too high to fit under surrounding trim, cut the bottom edges of mouldings or doors that protrude into the room.
