The Quarry Tile Company was started in 1965. Spokane, WA was a natural choice of location because of the abundance of natural clay reserves in the area which the company relies upon still today. Over the past forty years, the Quarry Tile Company has grown to become one of the premier specialty tile manufacturing companies in the United States. Part of its success lies in the integration between some of the finest brains in the ceramic industry and up–to–date technological research and manufacturing facility. This synergy produces a limitless supply of innovative design solutions.

Quarry Tile Company's forte lies in excellence in custom specification and historic restoration. The company thrives on the complexity of challenges that have been given to it. Among these it the New York Subway and the Los Angeles Library Dome where the company has been able to custom–match the multifarious colors and sizes to perfection. Such testing challenges are what the company welcomes and thrives on.

Quarry Tile Company's unswerving focus lies in producing an unmatched tile of the highest quality, fully exploiting the color spectrum. Quarry tiles come in three series.

Here is a brief rundown of the tile series:

The Natural Hues on Eco–Body series is a commercial grade tile that comes in 59 colors with 14 sizes and different shapes from square to rectangle. Natural Hues tile is made for interior floors and walls but can also be used for exterior walls and is able to withstand sub–zero temperatures subject to proper installation. The tile is also available in a slip–resistant abrasive finish. The body of the tiles in this series is of "green clay" made from recycled waste. Conforming to environmentally friendly specifications these tiles are fully LEED compatible. Natural Hues tiles are designed with a 1/4" grout joint for floor or wall installations.

The Festiva series available in wall tile in a choice of 25 Natural Hues colors that is available in 7 different shapes and sizes. These differing shapes, sizes and colors can be put together to make a varied and interesting multi–colored tile palette. Designed with a 1/8" grout joint, Festiva series tiles are for wall installations only. The company also makes tiles in custom colors and a variety of non-standard shapes and sizes.
