The World Floor Covering Association (which you can visit at WFCA.org) is truly a source of unbiased flooring information that works to advance the floor covering industry.

The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) was created almost 50 years ago as a compilation of the American Floor Covering Association and the Western Floor Covering Association. The WFCA now has over 3,000 retail flooring members and is a leader in flooring–related market research. The WFCA aims to help retailers increase profits, professionalism, and customer satisfaction by providing business resources and tools. In addition, the WFCA shapes the floor industry policies and provides retailer and carpet cleaner certifications.

To the general public, the WFCA provides support, service, and information in hopes to assure that consumers have a successful and satisfying experience when shopping for flooring, either online or in retail stores. They do this by providing customers with flooring design tips based on their personal style choices, budget, and area of installation. The WFCA also helps consumers estimate the total cost of their floor project, including moving of furniture, subfloor preparation, installation, and purchasing the floor and other flooring related materials such as underlayments, trims, adhesives, finishes, and floor cleaners.

Visit the WFCA.org member search to find World Floor Covering Association certified “Creating Your Space” Elite Dealers, WFCA Premium Dealers, WFCA Certified Dealers, and certified WFCA carpet cleaners.
