The Virtual Room Designer – Designing Rooms Before Buying

With the FindAnyFloor.com Virtual Room Designer I can finally design my room before making expensive purchases. For years I've been debating over whether or not to install hardwood floors in my living room in place of carpet. I know all the pros to installing hardwood flooring: it can increase the value of my home; it can help promote healthier indoor air quality; can be a better choice for those with allergies; and of course, they're beautiful! Despite all of these benefits, I couldn't justify with the higher costs of materials and installation to redesign my room. I've used the issue of cost to repeatedly talk myself out of actually buying hardwood floors for my home for as long as I can remember. Now with the ability to design my room before I purchase, I can visualize my room makeover dreams before shopping.

With the virtual room designer, I was able to actually see what hardwood floors would look like in my living room. And not just any hardwood - the Brazilian Cherry that I fell in love with 5 years ago! After designing my new room I noticed that the beautiful browns and reds of Brazilian Cherry Flooring didn't go well with my current room colors. With the virtual room designer I was able to easily change the paint on the wall with a large selection of Benjamin Moore paints. And you know what? With a new coat of paint in my living room the hardwood floors look even better than I imagined.

Inspired by the room designs I was able to create, I used their local flooring professionals search directory to contact a local hardwood retailer and saw what deals they were offering. I showed them the results I printed from the room design tool and they were easily able to get me the floors that matched my results. The hardwood flooring retailer was able to finance me for the exact hardwood floors I want, and for a reasonable cost.

Question: I understand the wall color options are all Benjamin Moore paints. But how do I tell what a given flooring option is? How do I tell hardwood from laminate from vinyl made to look like hardwood?
