Shaw INdustries Group, Inc. company logo, Where Great Floors Begin®From an array of durable laminates and hardwood floors, to a huge selection of carpet and ceramic tile, Shaw Floors truly is where great floors begin.

Shaw Floors has a history of successful innovative flooring designs. This includes everything from Shaw’s exclusive R2X soil and stain protection used on Shaw carpets, to their patented VersaLock®AG™ and LocNPlace® glue-less laminate installation systems.

Photo if Shaw's Waste-to-Energy (WTE) plant where they convert waste product to energyShaw Industries is also known for their many green flooring initiatives. For example, at the Shaw Evergreen carpet recycling center in Augusta, GA, they are now recycling nylon 6 in a closed-loop recycling system. This means that at the end of the carpet’s useful life it can be recycled back into nylon which can be reused to make new carpet without affecting the nylon’s quality or aesthetics.

Shaw Floors also has a Waste-to-Energy (WTE) facility that is dedicated to reducing fuel use as well as electricity use. One of the ways that Shaw’s waste-to-energy facility does this is by using a process called gasification to convert wood and carpet waste into steam energy.

EcoWorx®, Anso®Nylon, Eco Solution Q®, EPIC Hardwood & Shaw Laminate are just a few of the many eco-friendly brands from Shaw IndustriesShaw manufactures several lines of eco-friendly green carpet such as the fully recyclable Shaw EcoWorx® carpet tile, as well as Anso® Nylon and Eco Solution Q® carpet fibers made from recycled content. In addition, Shaw manufactures green hardwood and laminate. Shaw’s Epic Hardwood and Shaw’s Laminate, for example, have the EnviroCore made of wood by-products that would’ve otherwise been sent to a landfill or burned. Shaw also recently acquired Anderson Hardwood Floors which offers the Grand Canyon Collection made of 100% wood by-products.

I like Shaw carpeting and its organization. I installed Shaw carpets in my home and it really helps with the look of my home. I also wanted to use the Shaw company because of its warranty. They back up their flooring and make sure you know it. Look over their flooring warranties if anyone is curious and if you're thinking about installing carpet soon. its worth it.

I agree. Shaw carpets are beautiful.

If anyone has an opinionated 5-year old daughter like myself I recommend Shaw! I just installed Shaw's carpet in my daughters bedroom and asked her opinion on colors. Of course she wanted purple to match her lavender walls so we both chose their "lavender jewel" colored carpet. It looks so great! I was worried that purple carpet would make my home well----cheap...but it fits with my daughters personality and is elegant enough to keep their even when she's all grown up. I love Shaw's variety!
