I didn't care for the virtual room designer because it only gave me two choices in the bedroom and neither one was right for my furniture style (country cottage.) Their idea of classic looked like a room in Elvis's mansion (60's style) and the modern style didn't give me a choice of changing bedspread color. Also, the kitchen didn't give me a choice of white cabinets so I had to reverse my colors on my walls and cabinets. Bathroom was the same as bedroom, it was either classic (claw foot tub) or modern (no tub only shower)The only one that I really liked was the living room (perfect color matches)
Hi Janie, Sorry the virtual room designer didn't fit your exact style. There is another tool at shawfloors.com called Try on a Floor where you can actually upload a picture of your own room and customize it. It's much more in-depth but will take you longer to use. This may work better for your needs. Hope that helps!
Love it! Virtual living room designer is amazing. Really help clarify fun shades, floors, wall colors that just make life easier. With so many options to choose from these days a virtual room designer is a must! There's no way I would have been able to figure out my entire room makeover without the virtual room designs! Thanks!

Thanks for referring Shaw's virtual room designer. It is so easy to use and its surprisingly fast. It's pretty awesome changing wall colors in your own room without actually doing it. Great tool on this site as well but Shaw's designer was helpful for my unimaginative mind...seeing my room online with different floors, walls etc was really helpful. Went with brown walls, and new hardwood!
