I browsed a number of sites on the Internet to find the best ways to remove mascara from carpet and have listed some of them below. Note that waterproof mascara probably won't be removed with just water. Don't forget to blot the stain rather than rub it and always test cleaning solutions on a small hidden section of your carpet to ensure it won't damage it.
Try one of these methods:
- Apply eye make-up remover onto a clean cloth or cotton ball and dab at the stain. Repeat as needed then rinse the area with water.
