Looking for a "green" sustainable flooring for your home or business? Dansk Hardwood offers Bamboo Fusion flooring, a strand woven floor design. Dansk as a company has taken great steps in ensuring their flooring products come from raw materials sourced from sustainable managed forests. Not all bamboo flooring is created equal, and Dansk wants to make sure that consumers are aware that buying Dansk Bamboo Fusion means you are buying quality as well as a true eco friendly flooring.

Dansk Bamboo Fusion is offered in three series; T&G, Professional Series and Eco–Clic. Each of these bamboo flooring series comes with a unique warranty covering the floor product for up to 25 years. In addition, the flooring comes in a variety of strand woven bamboo constructions, from solid flooring to engineered. Solid Bamboo Fusion flooring has a traditional tongue and groove locking system and can be either glued or nailed to the subfloor. Engineered Bamboo Fusion floors have a Uniclic patented system that allows the flooring to be floated, meaning no glue or fasteners are needed.

Want to try different bamboo floor colors, Dansk Bamboo Fusion offers a unique color selection. Of course they have the bamboo natural colors of coffee (Carbonized) and natural (blonde), as well as a mix of coffee and natural called tiger. Where Dansk Hardwood separates themselves from the rest of the bamboo flooring suppliers is in their stained bamboo flooring collection. Try the warmth of browns and reds with Bamboo Fusion Auburn, Cedar, Bordeaux, or Pinot Noir, or more traditional oak flooring colors such as Gunstock and Antique.

Working on a LEED project and need a flooring type that can contribute to LEED points? Dansk Hardwood Bamboo Fusion floors can lead to LEED points under both categories of Rapidly Renewing Materials and Low Emitting Materials.

Whether you are looking to create a unique flooring design in your home or business, or wanting to find a sustainable and eco friendly floor for your "green" lifestyle, make sure to look at Dansk Hardwood Bamboo Fusion; you'll be glad you did.

I am looking for a new eco friendly floor and I found this article on Dansk bamboo fusion to be helpful. I have seen normal bamboo flooring but I dont know what this strand bamboo is all about other than what I have read. Where is the closest place to Baton Rouge LA to find a flooring store that I can look at the Dansk Fusion bamboo floors? Thanks

Martha,
You should try using the flooring store search directory. Pick your city and state and locate your nearest flooring stores in your area. go to: Directory.FindAnyFloor.com

I had the Dansk bamboo fusion installed in my home and am having extensive issues with moisture, expansion and scratching. I am not in a humid climate. I would be careful about installing this in Louisiana.

Ann,
Was your Dansk fusion install a DIY project or did you use a professional installer? Which product & thickness do you have, the Uniclic or tongue & groove? I've read the instructions for Uniclic which state specifically the boxes are to be sealed during the 48 hour acclimatization period. Comments?

We had Dansk Fusion Click flooring installed in our master bedroom, which is a concrete floor that is below grade. We took care to seal all the concrete (floor and stub walls) with DryLok cement paint and have had no issues with our floor. It was installed nearly 2 years ago and we live in Western Oregon (70 inches of rain a year).

We have nothing but good things to say about our floor. It is beautiful and we are happy to have an environmentally good choice.

For anyone that is having issues with moisture, this can/will happen with any wood/bamboo floor if it is not installed correctly. It is all about the prep... Our floor is a perfect example. We will have standing water on grade (outside) and a Fusion floor below grade and no issues.
